
Miroslav Mirosavljev, aka Micky Lee* was born 1978 in Vrsac (Serbia and Montenegro).
Since 1999 he studied jazz guitar with Christian Röver, Karl Ratzer and Guido Jeszensky at the University for music and dramatic arts in Graz. After finishing first segment of study, he continued at the Jazz Composition department under tuition of Karlheinz Czadek.
2001 he won an international Competition for big band composition in Barga, Italy.
2005 diploma in Jazz Composition.
Micky Lee played with numerous jazz and rock bands in Austria and abroad (Germany, Italy, Tunisia, Serbia etc).
The greatest influences: Charles Mingus, John Coltrane, Wes Montgomery, Pat Martino, Richie Blackmore, Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Gustav Mahler and Igor Stravinsky.
Currently Micky Lee lives in Vienna where he plays, composes and teaches guitar and music theory.
